Aishwarya Rai

Born in Mangalore, she worked as a model before she took up acting. Rai began modeling on the side while pursuing for studies in Architecture, which did not materialise. In the 1994 Miss India pageant, she was placed second behind Sushmita Sen, and went on to win the Miss World title that same year and the Miss Photogenic award. She debuted in a Tamil film Iruvar, which was followed by Aur Pyar Ho Gaya. Her third film Jeans won her critical acclaim. She has been chosen by the Time magazine as the World’s 𣺜 Most Influential People”. She has been a regular at the Cannes Film Festival since 2002. her popular movies include Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas, Chokher Bali, Taal, Jeans, Dhoom, etc.

Amitabh Bachchan

e is the most legendary actor in the Bollywood fraternity. Born in Allahabad, his father was a Hindi poet.

He was initially called Inquilab. In his early twenties, he gave up his previous job of a freight-broker, and paved way to venture into the world of acting. His first appearance in movies was with Saat Hindustani, and he was one of the seven protagonists, which won him a National Award.

Zanjeer spelled the first box office hit in Bachans career. Then he delivered atleast one hit in a year. In the 1980s he tried his hands in politics, which did not last for long. After 3 years, he came to acting through a breakthrough film called Shehanshah, which was a huge success because of his absence on screen.

With a degree in industrial psychology, Nethra Raghuraman never even in the wildest of her dreams imagined, that she would be a model. She was very tall, and the best use, she thought, was modeling. She auditioned for an ad and got through. She applied to the Femina Look of the Year, and won it unexpectedly. She has worked with major designers of the tinsel town. She has also worked in films like Thakshak, Bhopal express, Avgat, Inteqam, Tum…Ho Na!, Husn and the likes. She also regularly participates in Lakme India Fashion Week. She is married to Atlanta-returned actor-singer-standup comedian Ash Chandler.
