Short Bio: Born in a Musical and spiritual environment, Abhay Rustum is a budding young Santoor Player from Delhi. Being the son of legendry santoor player Padmashri Pandit Bhajan Sopori and the grandson of Pandit Shamboo Nath Sopori, Abhay has very well inherited the gift of music from his traditional Sufiana Gharana.
Abhay Rustum Sopori started his musical journey in the year 1997; with his first concert in Delhi being a success, he hasnt looked back since then. Winning the prestigious Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar Award in the year 2006 can be termed as the highlight of Abhays career.
